Five service groups and the thinking behind the list
The list follows the order in which a family is likely to need things: first the opening hours and days, then the funeral itself, then the work on the grave and, finally, the days of remembrance. Every figure in the tables is the most affordable option; what it includes and what costs extra is set out in full on the page for that service. The rate does not change at night, at weekends or on public holidays.
If you are reading this in the middle of a loss, you do not need to study every table. Look at the section that matches the stage you are at, or simply phone and describe what has happened - the coordinator will tell you which of the lines below actually apply to you.

Three common situations and the services each one needs
A death at home, burial in Tbilisi
This is the most frequent case. A family usually needs the deceased prepared and dressed, a refrigerated coffin or a storage chamber, the certificates, a cemetery plot and gravediggers, and then, when the funeral day comes, a hearse, pallbearers and a memorial meal. The simplest route is to order all of this as one funeral arrangement package: the coordinator pulls the separate parts into a single plan and agrees the timing of each one.
A death abroad
Here the main task is repatriation. Once the coffin reaches Tbilisi, the family will need someone to meet it at the airport, a farewell in the house or at one of our halls, followed by an ordinary burial. If cremation has already taken place in the other country, bringing the urn home and burying the ashes is far simpler and cheaper. For relatives who stay behind abroad, a live stream lets them follow the ceremony.
Burial in the family's native village
The body travels to the region, often after embalming, while the grave, the digging and the table are sorted out by the family together with the village community. We take care of the journey, the documents and the refrigeration and, if needed, send a crew that arrives in the village the day before.
Timeline: which service belongs to which stage
Families often feel lost because it seems as though everything has to be decided at once. In reality the decisions are spread out over time, and here is a short guide to the stages:
- The first hours: removal from the home or clinic, a refrigerated coffin or chamber, dressing. Right now only one thing really needs deciding: where your loved one will rest until the funeral.
- The first day: paperwork, either a new plot or access to an existing family grave, a hall should the home be unsuitable for the farewell, plus embalming where required.
- Days two and three: gravediggers, pallbearers, the hearse and bus for the funeral day, booking the memorial table, filming or a stream for those far away.
- Before the fortieth day: tidying the grave and the table for the ormotsi.
- Before the first anniversary: the headstone, tiles, railing, flower bed and the anniversary memorial itself.
- The years after: regular care of the grave, especially when the family lives in another town or country.
The coordinator walks through these stages with the family and each time discusses only what matters at that moment, so the relatives are not buried under decisions that can wait. They will remind you of the next step themselves, well in advance.
Our pricing principles
- "From" prices: the tables show the most affordable option. The operator gives the sum for your particular case during the conversation and confirms it in writing.
- One rate around the clock: we charge nothing extra at night, on public holidays or at weekends.
- Fees passed on at cost: state and cemetery charges are paid against a receipt, in exactly the amount the authority takes.
- A single invoice: however many services you order, they all appear on one document, line by line.
- Payment after the funeral: we take no deposit, and a larger sum can be split over six months with no interest.
Frequently asked questions
Can I order just one service?
Yes. Any service on the list can be booked on its own - only the hearse, for example, only the digging of the grave, or only the headstone. A package is convenient, but by no means compulsory.
What is the advantage of ordering everything from one funeral home?
One coordinator oversees every stage, the timings fit together, and the family deals with one person and receives one estimate. When several contractors are involved, some link in the chain often goes missing.
Is there a surcharge at night or on holidays?
No. Each service costs the same at any hour of the day and on any day of the year.
How do I find out the exact cost?
Describe the situation by phone or in a messenger app: the operator will ask a few questions and, within half an hour, send an itemised estimate that does not change afterwards.
Do you work outside Tbilisi?
Yes, throughout Georgia. The prices are the same, with the crew's and vehicle's mileage added for the round trip.
Can we plan straight away what will be needed after the funeral?
You can. Many families agree the 40th-day memorial, the headstone for the anniversary and grave care right after the burial, so they do not have to return to these tasks in the months ahead. Everything goes into one shared schedule.
Which services are essential and which are optional?
There is no way around the documents, the transport, the coffin and the preparation of the grave. Everything else, whether a hall, embalming, the lowering device, a restaurant table or filming, depends on the circumstances and the family's wishes. The coordinator will always tell you honestly what you can manage without.
Can we place an order while living abroad?
Yes, for any service. We send the estimate by messenger or email, you can settle the bill with a card issued abroad or via an international transfer, and we confirm completed work with photographs.
You do not have to know in advance which services you need. Just tell us what has happened: a coordinator answering +995 568 33 03 18 round the clock will explain what is truly necessary, what you can leave out and what it will cost, and we will carry the rest of the load for you.
